Cleaning your pet's teeth is as important as cleaning your own teeth. Did you know if your pet has been diagnosed with plaque build up and/or gum disease, every time they swallow, they are swallowing the bacteria from the plaque? Over time this can lead to kidney failure and then possibly even to heart failure. Once the cleaning has been completed, you have a clean slate to start brushing your pet's teeth on your own. We recommend brushing as often as you brush your own teeth with pet toothpaste (never use human toothpaste).
