We offer wellness exams for our feline friends in a stress free environment. Your cat will be welcomed into a room full of feline phermones called FeliWay, that help to keep cats calm in stressful enviornments. We take pride in making our feline exams as stress free as possible, in order to better the health of your pet.

Radiographs are a diagnostic tool used to record the internal structure of your pet. This can help us rule out many things, such as; broken bones, hip dysplasia, cancer, arthritis, bladder stones, foreign body obstructions and much more. Laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation therapy (PBM) occurs when a dose of light energy reaches target tissue and results in decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and accelerated healing. This effectively treats a wide variety of conditions including pre-surgical, post-surgical, acute, and chronic disease states.

Canine Wellness exams are crucial to providing preventative care to diseases such as: heartworm disease, lyme disease, kidney disease and much more. At your visit your dog will be welcomed with open arms by our loving staff, with plenty of treats. At Miami Acres, we provide stress free exams which help us to provide better care for your pet, and also makes future visits a more enjoyable.

Our state of the art in-house laboratory equipment can help us to diagnose your pet using blood samples. Routine lab work can also be used as a preventative measure to catch early onset of kidney disease, diabetes, infections and much more. We also offer in house urinalysis, intestinal parasite screening, and 4DX blood parasite screening, and Feline Triple SNAP test.

A microchip is a rice grain sized chip that goes beneath your pets skin. This chip will hold a identification number that contains all of your contact information, in case your pet goes missing. Microchipping helps to better your pets chances of coming back home. 

We know how difficult it can be to watch your bestfriend grow old, that's why we offer quality of life consultations to help you provide comfort care for your loved one in their final days, and also provide euthanasia services when you decide your pet is ready to cross the rainbow bring. Vaccines are critical to ensuring your pets do not contract possibly deadly diseases, and will help them to live long healthy lives!
